About AM Komunikacije

AM Komunikacije is one of the leading media agencies and buyers in Slovenia, offering a comprehensive set of services, from media planning and media buying, research and consumer insight to preparation of communication strategies and counseling.

Established in 2011, AM komunikacije was first a part of the largest regional communications system Direct Media. Upon becoming a part of Ascanius Media group in 2018, the media agency developed its regional strengths in collaboration with Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while maintaining cooperation with the remaining SEE region through affiliation with Direct Media United Solutions. Forming the largest communications agency network in the Adriatic Region, also makes AM Komunikacije the largest buyer in the region.

From the very beginning, we are part of Formitas Group in Slovenia. Constant development in various fields has led us to being the longest operating agency group in Slovenia with 30 years of expertise.

Our focus goes far beyond classical media planning and buying, as we focus on partnership-based projects. Our goal is to achieve synergy between the client, the media agency and the media vendor. In the heart of this cooperation, we place an open, honest and transparent relationship with all business partners, which is a prerequisite for creating successful brand stories that last years and raise the brands of our clients to a higher level.

Strategic insight and expertise

Being postdemographic pioneers, we at AM Komunikacije aim beyond the usual demographic characteristics of consumers to define and target our target groups more effectively. We have developed our own module for analysis of lifestyles of target groups within the Mediana TGI consumer and brand analysis tool, which is owned exclusively by AM Komunikacije and is used to achieve the competitive advantages of our business partners.

Main credit for developing such an unique analysis tool goes to our expert Mitja Tuškej. Mitja is Ascanius Media’s lead strategist, one of the largest branding experts in the region and author of 2 highly coveted branding books “Brez frendov ni brendov” (2015) & “Hokus pokus: fokus” (2019).

With the knowledge come big projects and satisfied clients:

Štartaj Slovenija (Start it up Slovenia): our most awarded partnership project

Within the project Start it up Slovenia we created an innovative partnership between retailer Spar Slovenia and media house Pop TV. This way, young Slovenian entrepreneurs got the opportunity to sell their products on one of the biggest retailers’ shelves, while Pop TV created a new TV show format for presenting their stories. With integrating young people into stories told  through social media and other media communication, Spar Slovenia also attracted younger customers to their stores. The number exceeded all set goals: the share of young customers shopping at Spar has increased from 48 % before the start of the project (2016), to 76% in 2020. In autumn 2021, already the sixth season of the project begins.
